Spring is my favorite season. The flowers are blooming, The trees are beginning to grow, and the animals are waking up from their slumber, during hibernation. There are many activities to do; during the Spring Season. It is a time for new beginnings and to go on new adventures and spend time outdoors.
One of my favorite activities to do is go on the rowboats in Central Park. I've done this activity many times, but it is always a new experience every time. This is a great activity date with friends. I also enjoy going to the parks in New Jersey such as Branch Brook Park to see the cherry blossoms. Cherry blossoms are one of my favorite flowers because of the appearance and its symbolism. They represent the fragility and the beauty of life. It's a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but that it is also tragically short.
I admire all of the beautiful flowers that surround all of the parks. Flowers give beauty, color, and fragrance in nature.
Another activity that I like to go in the springtime is going to the botanical gardens. The last time I went to a botanical garden was in Brooklyn, back in 2014. It is called the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Despite the allergies, I will gladly take the risk for the flowers. Spring has so many bright colors in the season, that can lift up your mood.
Recently, I did a scavenger hunt with some friends at Central Park. It allowed me to see all of the hidden gems in Central Park. One of those hidden gems is the Shakespeare Garden in Central Park. It is an area that has beautiful plants and flowers mentioned in the works of the playwright. There are many activities to do in the city, you just have to find it.
